Classes & Courses
Down Under Dive Shop offers a variety of courses, from the "Discover Scuba Diving" class all the way through certifying PADI instructors to teach scuba. The Dive Center is a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Five Star IDC Training Facility, meaning that all of the instructors are certified by PADI and adhere to the organization's standards and guidelines.

Follow the links below to the PADI website to learn more, sign up for a class, and complete written coursework. Once that work is done, you’ll come into the shop for orientation, pool sessions, and open-water dives.
Our instructors offer a range of PADI certifications, including Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, and Rescue Diver, as well as specialized courses such as Divemaster and Instructor Development. These courses are designed to teach individuals the skills and knowledge necessary to safely and confidently dive in a variety of settings.
