We should have trips available during you visit to the Gulf Shores area. We operate our own charter boats, and have the ability to run every day to a variety of sites, so we feel it is better for our charter bookings to be over the phone. The diving is very good here and the visibility has been ranging 35' to 50'. Water temp should be in the mid to low 70's, and we do rent suits.
We recommend the six hour two dive trip because of the good visibility and wide selection of excellent dive sites the four hour sites are nice as well (6 hour trips have a 20 mile range, 4 hour trips have a 10 mile range), and riders can go for half price. We normally have 6 hour trips in the mornings, leaving the marina @ 8 am. The dive sites that we visit vary depending on conditions, but we generally dive small wrecks and bridge rubble on the 4 hour trips, and tugboats and larger shipwrecks on the 6 hour trips.

Also, finding a buddy on the boat is never a problem and guides are available for $30 per dive, but a Divemaster will conduct the dive operations.
